Accepting Trading Losses Gracefully

I know, this is easier said than done. It's painful to accept trading losses.

So whenever I find myself in a string of losses, I would step away from my trading computer for a few days - basically trying to avoid internalizing the pain and feeling damaged emotionally.

Usually after a few days, I will see the losses for what they truly are - a great trading education that has been cleverly disguised as a great emotional pain.

Found a very interesting article on the web regarding the subject matter........something that I could definitely relate to.

I humbly admit that I too, was at one time always on the lookout for the next "kick-ass" Forex system since sliced bread.

Tuesday Trade

Exited this trade for a little profit, somewhere near the bottom area of that hammer candle.

Gaps

Man, how often do you see gaps happening on such a hugely liquid market such as FOREX? Well, that's exactly what took place on several currency pairs this week.

I must confess, I don't know how to play them - so I simply stay away from 'em. I just prefer to trade using stuffs that I'm already familiar with.

Really, for a while I thought I was looking at stock charts instead of FOREX, with all these gaps popping all over the place.

Speaking of stocks, I am now going to be paying more attention to this market, specifically NYSE & NASDAQ. Will post some stuff on this over at my stocks blog, when I have something interesting to say.

Monday Trade

Closed this trade for a quickie. It's already at the "1st trouble area", and there's also CAD news in 2 hours time. I'll just grab what the market wants to give me at this time.

It's Monday again, so let's start by knocking in a new trade, shall we?

It's been quite a while since I last trade using the Daily chart.......

.......and it kinda felt good, simply because I simply walked away from the computer, as soon as I've entered my trade orders.

So let's see how this baby turns out when I fire up my computer again tomorrow morning!
